Capcom 3 would hit the Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2011. Finally in 2010, Capcom shocked us all by announcing that Marvel Vs. Capcom game seem even more appealing, but much more improbable. Then came the dismal Electronic Arts offering Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects in 2005, which made a new Marvel Vs. Unfortunately, with Capcom losing the Marvel license, followed by the ensuing legal battle over copyrights, a sequel never looked to be on the cards. Ported to numerous different systems over the course of a decade - including the recent downloadable versions on PSN and Xbox Live - the arcade fighter has managed to maintain and expand its fanbase in the face of a constantly changing video game industry. Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes had it in spades. Maybe it was the fast-paced three-on-three tag battles, maybe it was the multifarious mixture of characters, or perhaps it was the over-the-top screen-filling combos. Capcom 2 so special is as tricky as beating its final boss with Dan Hibiki, Roll and a Servbot. Trying to put your finger on exactly what made Marvel Vs.
